Let us take you on a journey of the senses in one of the most unique dinners you will ever experience. Once blindfolded let your senses take over and you’ll enjoy the smells, the sounds, the tastes and the textures in a way you never thought possible.

What to expect:

You will be warmly welcomed by your hostess who will guide you through the evening while you enjoy the most extraordinary four-course meal.  When you are comfortable you will adjust your mask and be guided to your table where the fun really begins.

Your evening will be a combination of fine food, inspiring music and a story that ties everything together.   You’ll laugh and enjoy, you’ll guess what you are eating and you will focus on the food and each other.

At the end of the evening the masks will be removed, the menu will be revealed and on display in the library bar and you will feel relaxed and inspired.

What makes your Dining in the Dark different?

Unlike “blind dining” restaurants that offer meals served in a darkened room, Dining in the Dark guests are invited to come together at specific times on specific dates.  Blindfolded, they are immersed in environments that are comfortable and welcoming.   Writer Karen Nelson has written and often narrates the journey while musician/singers play the most amazing original music that enhances your experience though sound.

Why Dining in the Dark?

With the complete loss of vision — and the resulting heightening of the other four senses — an evening of Dining in the Dark is an extraordinary culinary adventure.

Here, the meal feels like more of a discovery for guests and servers. But isn’t that what it’s all about?

Dietary Needs/ Allergies

When you make your reservations, let us know if there is something we should be aware of. We are more than happy to accommodate your requirements.

Blindfolds

You will be blindfolded for about 2.5 hours and will wear your blindfold throughout the event. Please don’t peek.  These blindfolds are extremely comfortable spa/meditation masks where it is pitch black with your eyes open.  We do have offer optional blindfolds that do let a little light in if you are not comfortable in total darkness.

Restrooms

If you need to use the restroom, just ask or raise your hand.  You will be escorted out of the room where you may remove your blindfold.  Upon returning to the room, you’ll put your blindfold back on and re-join the fun.
