We had two great Dining in the Dark dinners under our belt in 2010 and are very excited for the future. The first dinner co-sponsored by Seth at Mystery Meet and attended by foodies and food bloggers. Talk about putting ourselves out there first time out – they loved it though and it launched a new dining experience, one that I hope to share with other restaurants, non-profit organizations as a fund raiser, bring into people’s homes as a dinner party and offer as a team building event.
The next dinner at the Hampshire House falls in the middle of Valentine’s Weekend, yes it is a weekend for those of you planning in advance. It will be interesting to see if couples find this as romantic as we think it is and choose to spend this holiday with us in this beautiful Beacon Hill Mansion.
New! We just scheduled 2 more Dining in the Dark evenings and this time it’s across the river in Cambridge right in the middle of Harvard Square. The first will be Friday, January 28th at Sandrine’s Bistro and feature an all chocolate themed menu and the second will be Sunday night, January 30th at Upstairs on the Square as part of the Taste of Chocolate Festival in Harvard Square that weekend. Although you won’t be able to see it, we’re told the chocolate dessert they are planning is to die for.
As I said to someone who sent me a recent email, we look forward to you not seeing us in 2011.
